Dear cat friends and their humans, thank you all for your good wishes for my little guy. Pip is making progress, and if things continue to go well, he'll be home around midweek. His adopted siblings miss him terribly, and so do his humans.

Thank you for asking! He has a heart condition, and after about five years of good health, his heart started to fail again. He seems to be getting better, but he's not well enough to come home yet.

It's bizarrely warm here today (76F and climbing). I'm sitting at my desk sweltering, but it's still fairly cool inside, so I shouldn't be this hot. Then I remember that I have this large creature warming my lap.
