Not self harm. They didn’t do it to themselves and I didn’t do it to myself. Brexit was a heist and many of us are paying the price for other people’s actions.

Really? Are you sure? I always imagined that the reason for UK not being allowed into Schengen would be because of Ireland not being keen on the idea.

You can claim “Scotland or Northern Ireland were dragged out of the EU against their will” But the fact is we voted as individuals on a UK-wide basis in a referendum that had no binding status. How my neighbours voted had no bearing on my own choice to remain in the EU.

Oh people assume I voted to leave all the time. It’s highly irritating.

The big story here is that as many as 32% of Reform voters want Freedom of Movement back! Wow.

I doubt very much his views are representative of many. He looks like a Brexiler to me.

Neither Euro nor Schengen are pre requisites. It’s far from certain we’d adopt them. So don’t worry about that. You can always hope the public wouldn’t accept membership conditions and UK stays out but I don’t think you’ll be lucky there.

Being pro-EU doesn’t mean agreeing with the EU on everything. Nor does it mean you have to criticise the UK all the time either.
