Imagine having the amount of narcissism to wear earrings of your own product that has an image on them of yourself wearing earrings of your own product (and repeat this forever).
Thoroughly loved The Odyssey. Mostly because: in an era where so many movies & shows are being made on a very obvious closed stage with a big digital screen behind the actors, it weirdly feels exciting & refreshing to see a movie actually filmed outside, with real lights and real sets.
I remember accidentally watching the music video for Chop Suey on MTV and thinking "This is so weird and chaotic; I must now buy all of their albums". I listened to their first 2 albums everyday on my CD player almost religiously. Hearing it all live is quite the nostalgia trip! 😄
Finally saw System Of A Down live! They were the band that got me into heavy/metal music when I was 10 and are a fitting last band to tick off on my live music bucketlist 25 years later. 😁 Perfect stadium show. 30 songs with no breaks. Band were locked-in & having fun. Crowd were very hyped. 🤩
Obsession: Instant Modern Horror Classic. This sits up there comfortably with Weapons and The Substance! Also a $750k budget R-rated film making $400 million+?? Incredible!
At Roskilde Festival this week! If given the option, always go front-pit for Napalm Death. 🤩
Went to see Sunn O))) last night! 2 hours of non-stop drone at 120db. Was on the front barrier and my whole skeleton was vibrating. 🫠 Video below; my phone glitched out because of how loud it was. 😄
As a super-fan of dreadful cult-classic 2003 movie 'The Room', this has blown my mind.
I didn't expect to see Unity founder & former CEO David Helgason representing My Chemical Romance in a professional headshot, but here we are anyway.
As both a cat owner and a MTG collector; I may never financially recover from these upcoming Felix and Garfield drops... 😅
Just reached 1 year anniversary since joining IO-Interactive's Glacier game engine team. ☺️ Also in the credits for 007 First Light! Was lucky to be able to join the production at the end to add interactive set pieces & help fix bugs. The team did an incredible job on making such a fantastic game!
Today's Fortune Cookie Message. Jira is now infecting my personal life?!
Godot has a bunch of neat robot assets made by the community! Love that Godot Foundation embraces them too :)
Messing around learning #Godot's 2d rigging and accidentally made a quick prototype for a moshpit-game?? My decades of attending aggressive metal gigs has lead me to this moment... This engine is too much fun. 😄 #gamedev #screenshotsaturday
My wife, who has seen basically zero pop-culture movies, thought the main villain in Star Wars was called 'Lucas Skywalker'.
2025 was just a little busy: - Engaged - Forged Wedding Rings - Started new job at IOI - Married - Travelled across China for 3 weeks - New kitten - Saw 57 bands play live - Went to 3 music festivals
We bought these kids-soft jigsaw pieces to build Giotto a new cat-house every day! It's like real-life Minecraft... for cats!
Of course my most listened to artist of 2025 is a Singapore Grindcore band with 60 seconds songs. Of course my most listened to album of 2025 is the best black metal album released in many years.
Finally saw Kraftwerk last night! Wild thought to watch an artist who basically invented a music genre about 50 years ago. 🤯
6 months at IOI. Easily the most fun I've had in my career so far! Feels great to be back on the game engine side of gamedev. 😁
Sad to see people calling out Australia for this; the country is trying to reduce frustration & stress in the next generation of game artists and non-programmers! 😄
