Are you familiar with Anthony Oliveira's book 'Dayspring'? There aren't many people I would recommend it to, but you are definitely one of them! It's a queer telling of the gospel through the lens of John/Lazarus, Jesus' beloved. Told in poetry, vignettes, and new translations.

In September, @koopakleric.net will be starting a great new job requiring him to relocate to Cleveland, OH. I will be staying in Michigan for the time being for personal, practical, and financial reasons. It will be a new adventure for both of us, and I'm looking forward to this next stage of life.

Have you all seen the film 'Boy Erased'? A story of a fundamentalist preacher's son sent to an abusive conversion therapy camp because he's gay. Way less fun than 'Because I'm a Cheerleader,' this film is extremely real. It's uncannily similar to my experience. If only I had Nicole Kidman as mother.
