#Knitting backwards can save you a lot of turning when making short rows, but how do you work the double stitch in German short rows? 👉 Slip the stitch from the RH needle to LH needle and bring the working yarn to the front over the LH needle. Ta-da! Tighten the yarn and knit backwards. That’s it!

I love a folded hem! I think it’s one of the neatest finishings in knitting. And there are many different exciting variations. You can have a purl ridge at the fold for a sharp finish, or you can make a row of eyelets for a picot ending as in this photo 🌸 #knitting
