This is the second time a wasp has done this to me since we’ve lived here and I started letting the wasp nests stay in place. They recognize faces and the ladies no longer turn and face me when I check on them. Here they are ignoring me this morning. 2/2
I haven’t seen a single bumblebee this year. But the catnip just bloomed so fingers crossed. When the milkweed blooms there should be Great Golden Digger Wasps. They’re very big and like to fly at my face, but aren’t actually aggressive😅😅😅 Look at that side eye! I do tend to get close to take photos
