📍Craigmore Viaduct, Co. Armagh Located near Bessbrook, outside Newry, this remarkable 18-arch railway bridge stretches for a 1/4 of a mile across the Camlough River valley. Designed by Irish civil engineer John Macneill, it stands 126 feet high and was an incredible achievement at the time.

A moon rise from the Dollymount Dunes June’s Strawberry moon looks like it will stay behind the clouds this evening. Glad to have captured it from Dollymount yesterday. Here is another photo of it from the dunes as it climbed up behind Réalt na Mara, Our Lady, Star of the Sea.
Last night’s Strawberry Moon rising over Poolbeg Lighthouse. Did you know that Poolbeg Lighthouse was painted black in 1850 after originally being exposed white granite. It was repainted to red in the early 1900s to comply with standard international maritime navigation rules.
