My current read. As a 63 year old white woman, I’m bewildered & disgusted that none of this is being taught in schools. And distraught I’m just learning about the deep struggles blacks had to endure. And still endure. Every single fucking day.
My dad died 10 years ago on 6.18.16. I visited his grave Thursday, which was a very cloudy day. On the way there, it even looked like it would rain. However, as I was getting situated in my car to leave, the sun burst out of hiding. I believe my dad knew I had come to remember him. #fathersday

I had to unexpectedly put down my 13 year old male kitty in December 2025 due to incurable oral cancer. It was really hard. His sister is still with me but I believe we both think of him more often than not. He was a sweet boy! Montgomery was his name, Monty for short.
