In October of ‘93 I saw Stereolab 3 times over a few days in LA/OC. Saw them once more last night. I’ve always loved these particular lyrics, especially during difficult times.

Recorded this the other day off TCM. I really liked it. I think it qualifies as a neo-noir. I’ve read that the director’s first cut is edited completely differently and has a Joe Jackson soundtrack. I would love to see that version if it exists. Loved the passing shot of the Music Machine on Pico!
