One of my doodles.

Horizontal watercolor. The background is lot of speckles, mainly a turquoise blue. A gold-hued,fuzzy almost-orb with a dark spot pointing to the right is on the left side. Radiating out from the orb are three arcs of gold colored watercolour mixed in with red and a few other colors. Between the background and this is a wobbly, dark purple grid.

Another fave. So much work went into all of these quilts. I love them all!

Squate quilt from middle of the ling wall. In the center is a melting ice cube over a very large NO. Around the edges are No Concentration Camps, Stop the Murders, No Racial Profiling, and Stop the Terrorism.

I call this abstract watercolor Almost A Nebula. As it was drying last night, I saw the center was dry and the whole piece was looking like a nebula. I spattered some gold-colored watercolor over the dry bit and now it looks like a star burning through a nebula. #art #astronomy

A caterpillar was out and about on a maple that's more shrub than tree today. I squealed and took too many pictures. The wind was blowing so I'm surprised one had decent focus.

My first try at sashiko. Decided to pull myself out of the blues resulting from yesterday's dentist fuckery by buying some sashiko thread and needles and giving it ago. I like it! I LOVE the sturdy needles!!!
