Looking at the Magna Carta in the British Library forcibly reminds me that the greatest progress occurs in recovering from the greatest oppressive threat. Maybe the UK needs to suffer the damage of Reform and the rest of the far right to come out the other side with renewed progressive vigour.

Congratulations to Guy (Lib Dem) on coming second to Peter (Green). There's nothing quite like giving the Reform lot a chance to damn themselves. A shame the country can't afford to run that experiment.
