In a study by Lord, Jones, & @drashleybatastini.bsky.social, people saw experts whose evaluation was via telehealth less credible when cross-examination framed telehealth as less accurate (despite research not supporting this!). Experts should be prepared to discuss the validity of remote evals.

The recovery will be long, but I’m very excited to get range & strength in my shoulder that I haven’t had in over a decade. I was still a grad student when I initially injured it & a postdoc when i aggravated it.

This carne adovada/pernil/pulled pork monstrosity is close to done. Bbq’d over charcoal overnight w drippings going into a pan of red chiles, beef stock, & sofrito. Now to finish off braising in the oven in the red chile broth, covered in foil until pull-apart tender. #FoodSky
A bit of flair to the wall is I've fully displayed a small handful of cds across. Only 2-3 per column, each one being an album from one of my dad's favorite jazz musicians, ones I can remember listening to with him.
I got all the alphabet up but ran out of space when we got to Various Artist kind of compilations. I decided the last cd on the wall would be the one that came with speaker system in the 80s, the one he said started his love for jazz & led to this massive collection.
It's finally complete. More in an overflow area to put up, but I'm thrilled to finally get my dad's old cd collection up & accessible.
