that's how i discovered them! a weird motionless bee hanging from a flower??? so i took a photo. then i zoomed in 🤯 (they are now one of my favorite inverts to find!)

Rainbow-bearded thornbill for #AvianAugust day 2. definitely went with the most ridiculous pose!
