Hello! Long haul truck driver, amateur drone pilot, truly bad banjo picker. Expect photography and long silences 🇨🇦🏳️🌈 He/Him and in a wonderful relationship with @starlightserpent 💓 (My opinions are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer)
Updating the old features on my house always brings me a certain sense of pride. That porch light hasn't worked since before I moved in.
The cool thing about servicing your own equipment is, at the end of the day, it'll either return to being whisper quiet, or it will be non-functioning.
Y'all I am so satisfied. Look at that lobster bisque. Absolutely blew my shoes off. I think that might be the most delicious bisque I've ever had, and the cheesecake gave me a physical reaction.
I can clean up a bit in the truck if I need too. Glad I brought one of my nicer work shirts.
Did my delivery at Moosehead this morning, and I decided to park my truck, put on a nicer shirt, and take a taxi into St John to be a bit of a tourist for a few hours. Super excited to get some seafood.
Driving through an intense storm yesterday I put on Luke Combs "ain't No Love in Oklahoma." And it definitely changed the mood. I felt excited at first, but then I remembered I haven't seen the second movie, and it didn't go so well for the tanker driver in the first one.
I definitely need a haircut and a beard trim. It's too damn hot.
I've been wearing generic jeans for about as long as I can remember, and and they don't do much for my figure. Yesterday I actually went out and bought some real brand name denim. Hoping it was worth it.
Dusting off this old gem for make a terrible comic Day lol. #MakeATerribleComicDay
This past weekend @starlightserpent.bsky.social made me the happiest man possible by just saying one simple word; Yes. ❤️

It's always when you got to be somewhere that your love of stupid older vehicles bites you in the ass and you lock yourself out of it. Luckily CAA was able to get the door open within an hour of me calling.
Happy Pride, Y'all. Remember that I'm pulling for you, and to never tolerate hatred on the highways of life. The world is not a great place right now, and what we really need is unity and love, community defense and organization. Be safe, and be kind to one another, but take no shit.
Got very excited to see this North Carolina truck stop had cheerwine, but was disappointed to see that it was only in the big bottles, only warm, and they didn't have the diet or zero sugar variety. #LongHaulLife
Lol thank you. I cheated on those and just used a kit. But I did make two fresh loaves of bread from scratch today, and a big old batch cowboy caviar 💗
Just got a hold of this bat house, and I would love to put it up but that opening seems really small to me? Is anyone who knows bats better than me able to tell me if this is normal?
There we go, truck feels more like my own now. Will be good to get that +1 Perception bonus too.
Finally took delivery of my new 16 year old pickup. Other than a few small things it's like it rolled off the production line this year. Boy howdy am I ever rusty with the Wiggle stick.
Work is putting me in a new truck later this week, and I am both nervous and excited. It's been over 8 years since I've driven a manual. But boy howdy if it isn't a pretty truck.
Been loving the warmer weather. Delivered to a candy factory in Merrillville Indiana yesterday. It was, frankly, gorgeous out.
