old, grey and grumpy Slightly less grumpy now I've pivoted from software to photography. Studying Photography at University of Suffolk
The speed and direction of cloud travel has a big impact on how the colours come out in the these long exposure Trichromes. Definitely needed to include a composition with an overhead power line. So Suffolk! I'm sure Constable would have included them in his landscapes... 😮 #trichrome #photography
Suffolk Big Skies Making the most of cloudy skies for now "The sky is the source of light in nature - and governs everything," Constable #trichrome #photography
Another from my Big Suffolk Skies homage walk. Whilst Flatford mill was a corn mill, the main crop milled would have been wheat for bread flour so this corn field doesn't quite fit the theme, but good enough for me. #trichrome #photography
We finally have some clouds! After attending a fascinating conference celebrating John Constable's 250th and viewing The Hay Wain in Christchurch Mansion I wanted to capture my version of Suffolk's big skies. A happy hour wandering the local fields. #trichrome #photography
More #penplotter work. CMYK fountain pen inks. TWSBI GO with spring for filling makes life much easier!
Yep. Garbage, wouldn't touch with a bargepole. Only joking! It's a Holga, you are the only limitation.
Vignettes of Ipswich Pen Plot of a merge of 16 images to capture this huge banner mural on the side of a derelict building near Stoke Bridge and the Waterfront. #penplotter
Vignettes of Ipswich Christchurch Park Been a while since I've been out making images. Didn't make many this time out either... #photography
The original image. Processed with DrawingBotV3 and plotted using BIC pens on an A3 pen plotter. (No AI involved)
Back to a bit of pen plotting. Working out what to do with my Airfields project... 🤔 4 x A4 sheets to see what an A2 plot might look like. Can "only" do A3 at the moment. "Need" a new plotter obvs 😆 #penplotter
ULF Trichrome testing some more old film. Tray dev was kind of a disaster so lots of work to "rescue" to this state. The HV powerline will be coming down in the next year. Walk under it everyday with the dogs. Wanted to record it. 7x17" @ilfordphoto.com HP5 355mm G-Claron #believeinfilm
Local test subject with 5x4 colour. Free film and free dev at Uni 😌 90mm with Kodak Portra 160 #believeinfilm
I did take a similar view with an almost equivalent angle of view with the Fuji. I think the different light also has a big effect, both bright days but different times.
Vignettes of Ipswich Same scene from the other day. This time with 5x4 Kodak Portra 160 with a 150mm lens. #believeinfilm #photography
Vignettes of Ipswich Bridge Street Newly completed building. No idea what's going in there. #photography
Vignettes of Ipswich Free Hyper Car hand wash parking? 24mm TS-E on the Fuji 50SII #photography
Apropos to absolutely nothing at all. Just a little reminder that nobody whatsoever "needs" a Widelux in their life... 😜 #widelux #photography
Vignettes of Ipswich (Digby the Octopus) 20 image photo merge #photography
Looking for a pinhole camera coz I missed WWPD I found my Polaroid camera. Here's a picture of a post box coz I'm sending letters for a collab project... 🤷 #photography
Missed WPD. Too busy watching the cycling. Popped across the road to practice some stuff... #photography
Fujifilm were in today running us through their cameras and lenses. The GFX 110 Tilt Shift is insane but this little bad boi stole my heart 🥰 #photography
Dug this out of the cupboard the other day. Finishing a roll off and looking forward to developing some more film. #believeinfilm
