"You awake?" Jisung nudges Minho’s bare leg with his foot.

Minho hums vaguely, turning his head to meet Jisung’s eyes, heavy-lidded and sleepy. "Barely."

Jisung should move. His leg is starting to go numb where Minho’s ankle is hooked over it, and the room is too warm, and there’s an empty chicken box threatening to slide off the table.

There are only a handful of people Jisung can be this quiet with. Fewer who don’t make him feel like he has to earn the silence by filling it. Minho has always been the exception — sprawled into his space like he belongs there, taking up room Jisung never minds giving him.

Jisung swallows, throat suddenly dry. The movie fades further into background noise, leaving just the quiet hum of the air conditioning and the gentle pulse of his own heartbeat. "Wanna call it a night?"

"No." Minho’s voice is low, almost a murmur. He holds Jisung’s gaze a beat too long before a smile curves slowly over his lips. "I’m comfortable."
