I got a little retro cassette player in Hong Kong. It’s a New Balance promotion with 7-Eleven. I can play my Hip Hop tapes when I get home. Yes, I am 53 and have a Care Bears bedspread in HK. I’m well ‘ard, me. 🤣

Every page in this book is jumping out at me. I’m born in the UK, but never truly accepted ‘cos of how I look. When I’m in Hong Kong, I’m not truly accepted ‘cos of how I act. It’s been an interesting & sometimes difficult experience, these books are vital in allowing us to feel seen & heard.

Many years ago one of my mates & I went to a House night in a little venue that held about 200 people. It had two toilets, no aircon, was a sweat box. Behind the decks was the legend himself - Dennis Ferrer. I left that place looking like I had stood in the shower with my clothes on. Great night

Went to the cat cafe today and my favourite kitteh was there. She came running up to me when I saw her and as soon as I gave her some head scritches she flopped on her side wanting belly rubs. When I stopped, she looked at me with a “What are you stopping for” look. She’s so fricking cute.
