Shaped pans for cornbread have been around for forever, though. Cuter than just circle muffin shapes, less crumbly than cutting squares for potlucks and picnics. This is the style I have, but shells work, I guess, and Lodge used to sell a collection of cute shapes (i remember horseshoes and cows).
