Grew my own sweetcorn and I'm mildly pleased with myself 🌽🤩🌽 I've got 50 tomatoes, 30 spuds, six sweetcorn, strawberries and beans for days, and a handful of radish (plus a windup torch/radio). Think I'm all set for the AI apocalypse!!! #gardening #growyourown #gardeningUK 🌱
First batch of radishes and we had the perfect summer salad for it!!! #gardening #freshfood
Bring the garden indoors. First sweetpeas of the year #UKgardening #flowers #sweetpeas
A lunchtime well spent creating my first proper bouquet of flowers from the garden. Plenty more to go at!!! #UKGardening #flowers
Out and about in the fields making the most of the sunshine 🌞 Trying to focus on the small things these days.... #wildflowers #wildlife #GardeningUK
I've waited a long time to see the Mold Cape in 'real' life and it didn't disappoint. The Museum of Liverpool and PSs have created a regionally focussed exhibition exploring the idea of treasure. It really hammers home how rich the archaeology of North West England and North East Wales is 🏺🪙
The #daffodils are here at last. Just the little ones so far 🤩 #NorthWales #ukGardening 🌱
My yellow crocus' are wilting under the weight of the rain, so I brought them into dry out a little and they have rewarded me by opening within 15 mins 🤩 🌱🇬🇧
It might be a bit grim outside but there are little pockets of loveliness when you go looking..... #UKGardening 🌱
Christmas wreath making was so much fun this year at the Walled Garden School in #Hawarden, #NorthWales 🍊🌲 All the foliage was foraged locally #UKGardening 🌱
It's that time of year again. I'm #Bamburgh bound for the @brparchaeology post-excavation week. Let's hope the weather God's are kind and the #archaeology is on form 🤩🏺
Came through the post with a bottle of wine. How did they know? 🤔🌱🌻🍷 #gardeningUK #gardening #wine
Seed collecting. This time it's sunflowers for next year 🌻🌱 #gardening #flowers #gardeningUK
That's a wrap on the 2025 #FestivalOfArchaeology🏺. Extra special to celebrate it in my home town of #Bradford with family and friends. Huge thank you to Photoworks & our fantastic 'My Heritage' artists who joined us for the weekend to celebrate their work exploring #archaeology and #photography ⛏️📸
Sweet William's from seed. I wasn't expecting them to flower this year 🤩 #gardening #gardeninguk #flowers 🇬🇧🌱
It might be drizzly today but the flowers are loving it #gardening #gardensky #nofilter #roses
It's #AskAnArchaeologist Day part of the @archaeologyuk.bsky.social #FestivalOfArchaeology. My question is: what's the best/worst/weirdest thing you have come home with after a dig? 🤔 I'll start..... a volunteer bought me a cutting of a framberry plant. It's 7, survived a house move and a flood!
Bodnant Garden @nationaltrust.org.uk blew my socks 🧦 off yesterday. The trees were something else 🌳🌲
