The V-Synth XT is in business, shoutout to the Redshift’s VESA mount for letting me relocate it. It’s a sonic labyrinth with a UI that’s as responsive as I would be on a Monday morning with a hangover. Whoever thought its DSP would be sufficient was tragically mistaken. But it sounds amazing.
working on a live setup with an iPad brain. DT2 and SM58 -> L6max as iPad audio interface -> iPad applies effects -> L6max master out AUM is hosting the plugins, including Turnado for performance effects, and sending clock to the DT2. it’s fun and stable so far.
apparently I’m getting a V-Synth XT. this despite being unworthy of its magnificence.
also this thing fucks and I got it for $225 (b-stock). it makes broken NES noises on loop and it’s sweet that we live in a world where it can exist. check that manual too. (Distropolis Goods Prismatic Spray II)

Got a Fourm and the poly aftertouch curve on the black keys is basically a toggle. I'm like, 103% sure that aftertouch isn't supposed to act like an on-off switch. First note is low C#, second is low G. Back to Sweetwater it goes.

I think the Dreamcast is in business! The Noctua fan is much quieter than the original and it should run a lot cooler with the new PSU. Good times.
Dreamcast surgery today! GDEMU was already installed, but I put in - New USB-C PSU - Battery holder, resistor, fuse, and capacitor on the controller board - That shiny blue LED! My Noctua fan arrives tomorrow and I have the replacement open button latch in already. Gonna be cool and quiet.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that the recent changes to Facebook's like/reply/share buttons are among the worst I can think of in the history of mobile apps. Aside from blowing away a decade of muscle memory, the placement changes based on counts. I have to assume they want people to miss them.

Enjoying my new bitcrusher here. Meant to sidechain in a kick but forgot to hit play before recording, oops. I think the Serum key patch I made sounds better in lower octaves, so I’ll probably keep to that if I actually use it.
