In a 2024 interview, he said he renounced his libertarianism as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic after a libertarian group asked him to speak at an anti-mask rally. "The fact they sent me this email is something I need to be very ashamed of, and I need to change" adding "Many times when I identified as Libertarian, people said to me, 'It's just rich white guys that don't want to be told what to do,' and I had a zillion answers to that — and now that seems 100 percent accurate."[58]

I mailed this potato chip batik quilt to my cousin in another state for her first grandchild. Despite tracking and a signature requirement, it vanished en route, never to be recovered. Yes, the post office paid the insurance, and yes, I promptly mailed her a different quilt, but 😠😡🤬. #quiltsky

I finished two 45"×45" quilts from my pile of tops; they are similar, but not identical. Someone had put 218 2.5"×2.5" 19th century repro squares in a ziplock bag & tossed them in the free bin; the bag contained enough patterned squares to make two tops with two squares left over! #quiltsky #quilt

Thank you! I hate wasting even tiny pieces of fabric, but collecting enough to produce a quilt takes a ridiculously long time. Ask me how I know this. 😄

The center panel is surrounded by a narrow purple and red patterned border, then a wide teal border printed with a pattern of colorful circuitry, and a yellow binding with tiny colorful geometric shapes.

I made 12 8"×10.5" quilted mug rugs for a charity fundraising event. The batik HSTs were left over from making hearts, while the 3 color QSTs were left over from snowballing HSTs. These tiny orphans are perfect for mug rugs! Ditch quilted with a walking foot. #quilt #sewing #art #recycle #fabric

I'm making nametags for some of the volunteers at the nonprofit where we all work. The fabric is a 12"×12" linen square and can make six nametags. I've completed three so far, and am currently drawing a pattern for the fourth on graph paper.
