Think apartment building and people standing or sitting at the open window and leaning outside, sometimes with a pillow over the lower part of the window frame and their arms resting on the pillow. Like this:
Doing some research and getting distracted by potential ideas for other stories. #amwriting
Older picture. Taken while taking a walk across the fields. #wildflowerhour
He (and his cat mom) live across from me and he comes to visit me when he does his rounds. He's curious but still pretty shy and runs the moment I get up. He has a loving home, so I doubt he's trying to adopt me. And even if he was, I'm allergic to cats, so no cat for me.
I used to love taking photos and often went on walks to do so. Walking is a bit tricky right now, but I still should somehow find a way to get back to taking more photos.
This one is plain gorgeous. It changes colors from red to green and the flowers are woven into the fabric. It's a bit stiffer than the other green one. Zero idea what to make with it. Maybe I just bought it because it was pretty?
This one is just pretty and the flowers are woven into the fabric. No idea what I wanted to do with it? A skirt? Victorian/Steampunk skirt maybe? Keep in mind I have al,ost no sewing skills.
The stuff you find while moving (yes, I'm still sorting through boxes). Fabric! I have no idea what I originally wanted to do with it. Pillows maybe? I think I might use this one for project bags. No need for pillows now but I do need some more project bags.
Well, hello there. Taken years ago on a trip to the Alps. #animalphotografy #goat
Oh absolutely but it's so common in Germany (right to roam unlike the US) that most people don't even think about it. And in the Alps it's not even always fenced in. Goats not cows, but this is relatively normal up in the mountains. No fence. And a street right in front.
Crochet sets with a completely unrealistic and obviously AI generated image of the animal you're supposed to crochet. That's so misleading, especially for beginners who have no experience and no idea what to expect. And if the image is AI, how usuable is the set and is the pattern AI as well?
Or a version of Victoria, Goddes of Victory. Which would be another thing he copied. That's the one on top of the Berlin Victory Column.
My first crochet project that's not a granny square 😉, is slowly taking shape. Yarn is finally changing color. Love the colors but the yarn (Hobbii Dahlia Halloween bobble/cake) really isn't a good choice for a beginner.
I needed to take a break from knitting because my wrists were hurting so I started to crochet a granny shawl. I'm still a beginner when it comes to crochet & of course I picked a fiddly yarn for my first bigger project. It's one of the Hobbii Halloween bobbles. The color will change at some point.
Very pretty. Reminds me of the "Häs" people who are active in the Swobian-Allemanic carnival wear.
Nari Nario! Weather isn't very good for everyone who likes carnival and is either watching or part of the Shrove Monday procession. It's alternating between rain and sunshine.
Moving means finding the strangest things. I have no idea what this is or why I kept them. The lily-thing is metal and heavy, so I doubt it's for a curtain rod. And there's only one.
The gnome family is growing. I'm not digging out my christmas decorations before my move, but I really should take a photo of all my gnomes.
