I do not lean on occult mediation;
I by this glass can read heaven directly
Through wavy distances vaster faster
Than any winged thing flies itself over
Back up the Eon-Font spent spinning out
And pouring these heaven-thread riddler-worlds.

I
must think my soul, transcribing when able,
Feel lumber, parts, fasteners quicken,
Assembling syntactically, square, true, and plumb.
This house that goes with me out and about,
My shell, only inward, a garden enclosed—
And miracle: growing to house every
Thing that I meet every thought every face;
The framing just stretches and pulls itself
Stretching to infinite world and often
Reforms or reshapes or recalls some old
Sentence which long ago lovers of wisdom
Transcribed and we stored in the basement.
