I’m a freelance writer and editor. I live in Pittsburgh with my partner (he’s the tall one) and our two cats. I turned off DMs because I don't want any. she/they
A little bit of chop on Lake Erie up here in Lakeside. A storm is brewing and I couldn’t be happier. I love it when a Great Lake gets moody.
My lap, right now. This is Mia, my 16-year-old senior girl. How will I break it to her that I have to leave in less than half an hour? #cats #blackcats #catsofbluesky
Hello, Seattle. I’m happy to see you again, for a few days. Thanks for the beautiful weather and the California poppies blooming everywhere. I’m off to drink in what is still familiar here, and what has become strange.

Video this time. 10:25-ish. At the end I pan to show our front walkway. My partner shoveled that an hour ago.
Snow in Pittsburgh this morning. It’s falling like fine dust right now. I’ll post pics throughout the day.
Books of the 80s Post a book you love from the 80s. No explanations, no reviews, just covers.
Ran the #phillyhalfmarathon with my niece today! We finished faster than we expected! Such a fun event - great course and spectator support for almost the entire route.
Here I am after finishing my 20 km run this morning. 😊 Yes, my hair is dripping sweat and my hat (which I knit - pattern is Shedir - like…god, almost 20 years ago now. 😬😂) Philly half-marathon, here I come!
Greeted by this at the end of my 8 km run this morning. #runinthedsrk, #finishinthelight
