After finishing my first nonfiction book of the year (The Dry Season by Melissa Febos, which I have loved every book of hers I’ve read, and this is no exception), “reflective” has entered the #MoodAccordingToBooks chat. #Booksky

“Dark” has entered the mood chat after finishing one of the Angel & Faith comics that I requested, but got lost in the library system some time around Lollapalooza last year, and just finally reappeared for me to read. #Booksky
11/22/63 is my 1st book finished in 2026. I figured out how this book had to end about half way through but I will say that for once Stephen King writes a compelling book all the way through. He usually writes great beginnings to get you hooked but his endings leave me disappointed. #Booksky
My goal was to read 50 books this year and I finished the year having read 53 books. #Booksky
And after finishing Gender Outlaw by Kate Bernstein, “challenging” takes a step up in my mood according to books. Also, I have officially hit 52 books read for the year (with the help of some graphic novels, but it’s still a giant step up from last year’s 20 books read.) #Booksky
I liked the mood pie chart better, especially for comparison purposes. Looks like informative making a move up in my moods due to The Mother Code: My Story of Love, Loss, and the Myths That Shape Us by Ruthie Ackerman #Booksky
After finishing the T in LGBT+ by Jaime Raines, “informative” moving up a bit in my mood according to books. Really enjoyed the book too. #Booksky

Went to a lit festival and bought 2 new books so I needed to finish Big Dumb Eyes by Nate Bargatze. It was alright, and at times I laughed out loud, but I think I would have liked it more in an audio format, where it would be just like his standup. No change in my moods according to books. #Booksky
After finishing the Parable of Talents (the sequel to Parable of the Sower, both of which I highly recommend reading), we see “challenging” starting to move up in my mood according to books. #Booksky
