That is a boatload of money that can be converted to GAM for LAFC. I know Ordaz is a young and upcoming player, but this gives some ammo to the war chest for them to add some pieces to the team. Good business
We got our first ever trade involving GAM with the schedule change. The Dynamo are sending out $250K in 27/28 GAM… is that a hint that GAM will continue on for at least that season?
Good bit of business for FC Dallas to acquire Daniel. GAM’s value just continues to go down so generally this isn’t much money for him. Seems as if SJ wanted to move on from him. Plus, the fact that he’s a domestic is huge. I know shot stopping stats are noisy but Daniel has at been solid
.43 xG in open play in the second half. At home. I mean so, so disappointing for Mexico. And for England…peep that red dot in their box
Correct me if I’m wrong but this seems like the first deal that had an option specifically for the MLS Sprint Season and not like, summer of 2026 for example
Iran’s first goal wouldn’t have counted even if Taremi was onside. Mohebi (#8) throws himself into the defensive wall to block Lukaku before the ball is hit. It almost was like a screen play in basketball but you have to be 1M away from the wall as an offensive player until the ball is hit
I was at the match between Iran-Belgium today. Took my dad for Father’s Day. -Yes, people booed the anthem -But also, everyone, no matter if they booed the anthem, were wearing Sun and Lion flags, the current flag, were cheering on Iran. It was a really great scene.
Just submitted my ASG vote. The midfield was ridiculously hard with the way they were categorized but I think Mukhtar has been excellent in a year of schedule congestion. Was between him, Guilherme, and Gil.
I swear man every year I look at the standings and am like “Damn how did Seattle get up there?” Great work from Schmetzer and co
League just makes up stuff as it goes man. Why wouldn’t Mo Salah be discoverable? Like legitimately, what’s the reasoning? It’s not a former player like Brandon Vazquez where he had to go through waivers for whatever reason the league made up
Dallas needs a SSS in Dallas. I don’t think the Hunts are interested in the NWSL and the Trinity, while a fun project, play in the gigantic Cotton Bowl which kinda diminishes the atmosphere. I’m not sure an NWSL team playing in this massive stadium would be great
Also someone tell SKC that performance analysts are not analytics. If that’s the case every team in MLS has had analytics and we know (and I know) from experience that isn’t true
Did not have Mascherano as the third manager to leave his club this season and if you did, congrats but I think you’re lying
That being said, a few new transactions were updated today prior to the Jan 4, 2022 date we had in there. Now, we have GAM trades dating back to the half-day window after the 2021 MLS Cup, including another big trade inflation adjusted.
By the way, it was my first time at MBS. What a great stadium. Staying in Buckhead and it was a straight shot to the stadium via the train system. Super easy to get to, easy to get in and out, and great fan friendly pricing. Was a very enjoyable experience minus the match
This is on you as a coach. A lack of understanding by players is on you!
I had a feeling he was going to be a DP when I saw his reported loan fee of $600K. His salary was around that amount in MLS; I assume he got a sizable raise in Brazil and that paired with the loan fee I think for sure pushed him to DP status. Don’t think I’m crazy about the signing as a DP…
