I don't like having a lot of followers and am very liberal with the block. I will not tolerate hate or bigotry. I just want the world to be a better place to live and for love to thrive.
Not mine, but the guy's who has a pyrotechnic license. They went on for an hour or so. They weren't huge, but just for a "backyard show" they were pretty damn good.
Tried making some black cocoa chocolate chocolate chip cookies with red, white, and blue sprinkles. The sprinkles didn't really stick.
One is from 2026, one from 2024, and one from 2022. I do not know why I don't have the odd years, but in '22 & '24 I spent between $200-300 and this year nearly $500. I am not sure which pics looks like more fireworks. These will be let off in a safe maner way out of town &
Welp I have 1,274 followers so... According to Wikipedia it was a common year. An English king is crowned. The pope did popey things. China invaded Japan. Ceuta, a city in Africa, ended its independence peacefully.
First ball game in years. First ball game at this stadium in decades. They have gone from a MiLB A team down to a quasi college team. This is the 4th team since the last game I came to this stadium.
The State of Illinois is demolishing this building on the state fairgrounds in Springfield. Only took a decade after it was condemned. Hopefully the land will be used for something good and not sit empty for years.
My haul from the toy and comic convention today. I didn't get much because their prices seemed high. Saw a couple of vendors have games that I normally see for about $20 selling them for $40 or more. And comics still on shelves new for $4 selling for more than $6.
Welp, after about 15 years this alarm clock radio died. RCA no longer makes alarm clock radios so it might be a minute before I find a replacement.
A shirt at my local farmers market. My wife and I got 7 with no problem. 1 we weren't sure about and 1 we had never heard of the band so we couldn't even guess what the picture was suppose to be.
Went to a tiny comiccon and score a lot of @startrek.bsky.social comics from back in the DCcomics days, and even Wolverine Origin for 5 bucks.
1 years as my daily shoes and 10 as my yard work shoes. New Balance 990. Most comfortable shoes I had, now almost all of their shoes are new foam that just does not hold up for me.
Went to a flea market today and scored these. I don't think the lady knew what games go for. I was tempted to buy all 20ish games she had. I could have made a profit selling them to Game Stop, even with their low ass cash payouts. The 20 @startrek.bsky.social books though aren't going anywhere.
I got my first @startrek.bsky.social autograph. He was also from Predator 2. I am thinking about going back to get a spoken word album with Shatner's autograph.
Not used to playing this on my Switch. Much better at it on the handheld.
Welp, got an unexpected present for First Contact Day. My cousin has been helping clean out & demolish some homes and he found this & saved it to give to me. It is a complete set with the plastic holder, only damage is the clasp broke through the plastic. Other than that it is in great shape.
Another Musk bot scammer has joined @bsky.app. Can I get a few others to report this account so it can be removed?
Since I am working from home 2 days a week now I needed more space. Now I can just push my keyboard under my monitors and have all that space for the work laptop. I thought I had selected a darker shade to match my desk but oh well.
Got some of my perks for the Doug Drexler documentary. Now I need to go buy some frames.
There is no way this was planned, but the pic for today matches the episode released today.
Some Shattered Universe time. Hopefully it is at least halfway decent.
Just got this in the mail. Hopefully I will have time to play for a little bit today.
