checking the time at work and the last four hours have only been twenty minutes
Worked on some concept art for Sebastian's wife, had some lore come to me that reframed her character differently, and I wanted to experiment with her design
This was supposed to just be a study for Sebastian's back markings (and a reference file I can copy paste from for any future panel it shows up in) but then I got carried away They are...rather extensive. And have changed in design many times over the years 😅
The underrated struggle in comics is when you put forth an extra amount of effort to design/draw background characters who only show up very briefly, but then you get attached to their design
I'm not sure how many of the arcana cards for Pravus I'll get through but I wanted to do this one at least!
Made a poster of sorts for my comic! 😊 I can't remember the last time I drew both of the boys in a piece like this. They fought me every step of the way about standing next to eachother 😆 a get along shirt wouldn't be enough for them I fear

Did an updated design/redraw of one of my much older (cherubim) angel characters, Nicolas. It's been a while since I last drew him. It feels a little surreal seeing him in my current style.
Experimented with actually "painting" Pravus. I've been struggling with some of the undertones in his skin in my normal comic style to follow the logic of the color of his blood is under the surface, so I tried working in a different style and technique to see what I learn out of it.
One of my older original characters I've had for quite a long time, Cimon (Cimone? I might add an e, it always felt like it read odd). She was long overdue for a refresh on her design. She hunts gods. I've missed her 🥺

Working on editing a scene in the comic script for Pravus and I can't let the typo see me laugh or else it'll encourage it
Having ship art ideas of my OCs but not necessarily being able to draw/share them publically because none of it has happened canonically in the comic yet is a prison of my own making

3. Show us your book covers I posted it before, but! Its the closest I think I've gotten for a cover. Haven't decided if I want to keep it or keep trying with different iterations haha
