The Arts Incubator Winnipeg
@artsincubator
Just a little arts collective supporting funky projects & literacy. We like to "salvage" bits and pieces of old art projects from years ago and reimagine them with digital tools we did not have at the time. Film, Music, Photography & Applied AI Research.
Youth are sewing ribbon skirts today! #art #creativity #fun
We have to test some of the wild clay we harvested a few weeks ago. So the kids made simple pendants to see how the clay dries. Will it warp, crack or split before we pit fire them? Looks great so far! #art #ceramics #fun #recreation #summer
We can't resist sharing a couple more pics of our little buddy, Mr. Froggie. He's a Gray Tree #Frog we found in the garden, so he chilled with us. Not much bigger than a finger. #photography #photographersofbluesky #nature #outdoors #cool
The Saskatoon Berries were two full weeks late blooming this year, so we're so happy to finally see them flower. We'll have berries in a few weeks. Can't wait, but until then we'll just have to watch. #jam #photography #berries #nature

THEY SURVIVED! We're so happy to see our apple trees, which we left under the snow from last year poking up. This one was small, and we didn't think it would make it. Welcome to year 2!
While we're based in Winnipeg, we've had a blast visiting Melgund Township to help with their nuclear waste impact assessment dialogues. With those done, we get to check out the amazing trails at the Art Borups Corners living lab. Beautiful forests out here!
So much beautiful art on display for this year's spring arts exhibition!
We're so excited for our spring and summer art programs to get back to the land!
Some nice paintings from our workshops and mini exhibition! So much fun! #art
We call them wild Columbine in Canada. Wondering if they are the same?
Next year we'll have an exhibition of the old trucks found around the bush. We love the old business vehicles. A look into days long gone when the world was so different. #art #photography
Central Park. Hang out and meeting spot for lots of our projects. #Winnipeg, not New York 😂
