adhd-riddled middle-aged cryptid. currently making (mostly neopets) avatars and worlds for vrchat (in the middle of the night). she/her wanna be a neopet too?
the short legs kind of work! they're kind of cute!! but gelerts are long to me, I feel like they'd be kinda tall on two legs. someone else gets to be a wind waker-ass fuck, another day.
the gelert model is finally starting to look like it's supposed to! today I did UV maps, which means I can start playing with colors.
Praedius is turning 23 next week so I am making him new art (he is thrilled)

I'm throwing in the towel after an hour an a half of just trying to complete ONE game of Attack on Altador. it has reset itself several rounds into every single game I attempt, while I'm sitting with folded hands watching it crawl at a snail's pace. these achievements are otherwise so EASY UGH
all my first "anthro neopet" drawings were of acaras, so when Praedius came around he ended up with a lot of the same features: a short muzzle with a small nose and mouth, and ears on the side of his head instead of on top. he has kept them with the in-universe reason that his mom is an acara.
"arttimo, what's your favorite neopet?" you ask. "it's acara" I answer, over my digital workbench full of gelerts.
When I joined neopets in 2003, the first pet name I tried to create was “Shadow,” which was of course taken. Finally, two decades later, Shadow finally exists! Good of him to finally show up, just in time for pride month. yes good another gelert OC to rotate endlessly in my head
yesterday I was antsy that furality hadn't released a con badge asset, so I started making my own. a few hours in, I found that they actually HAD released official badges, and I had missed the post while at work. oops! today I started filling in the badge ribbons.
I sent in a ticket after sending a neocash item to the wrong person, and not only was the response super fast despite it being after midnight, but this extra little note really made my day!! :3 (I should probably make more comics lol)

the fog in the spooky area of Neopia Central VRChat has been textureless, a broken sheet of white, for five? months? but nobody told me u_u anyway it took longer for my PC to open unity than it took to fix the issue, so it's fixed now!
I bought a pair of Bring Me The Horizon leggings secondhand and truly, the harder the music, the nicer the fans. ♥ The seller wrote this lovely note and included an extra gift. Just sharing my happy moment!
The next item is a pack of neopets playing cards, followed by a two pack of hand-wash pint glasses, that I will likely use to hold pencils instead of beverages. The sad shoyru glass says “your neopets are dying” (which is untrue, my neopets are thriving). 3/3
First item on top was a fleece blanket! It’s different the Geekify ones. Slightly smaller and the printing isn’t quite as nice, but it is cozy. Second item is a journal! Nice quality on this, and I’m definitely gonna use it. Third item is a lanyard! Purple on one side and rainbow on the other. 2/3
I picked up a $70 Neopets mystery box at Emerald City Comic Con #eccc and here’s what was in it! It was distributed by Surreal, which is a company I hadn’t heard of in regards to neopets before. They said it would be “5-8 practical items” so nothing with a size. First up is the box! 1/3
got some cool neopets stickers from @justasuta.bsky.social at #eccc! I also got a (licensed) neopets mystery box that contained stuff I hadn’t seen for sale before, but I’ll post pics of that tomorrow.
