I'm on mockup #3 now but will grab pics from Jenn of those later. Also gotta grab some shots of the goggles I'm slightly modifying and my coat/collar mockup. Waiting on fabric to start banging out the final pieces. Picked a very detailed jacquard to add some visual interest to her coat.

I'm bad at this progress thing. Been working on it, but as is the cosplayer way, time has snuck up on me with everything else in life and I am running out of time. Here's some pics of mockup #1 for thigh high spats I'm gonna make out of leather because finding ones that fit large thighs is hell.

The first easy win I did and never posted were her earrings. I painted these wooden earrings to attempt a jade look (looks more like malachite to me).

Have the coat mockup in progress as well. @quicksparrows.bsky.social as always is my guiding star in helping me customize the pattern to fit my body and the design elements like the asymmetrical bottom. Have to make the 2nd mockup with alterations.

I made a custom gradient and printed on silk habotai for her sashes. Sewing with silks is tough hahah, but I'm happy with the result.

Making a Beauregard Level 10 cosplay! Very slow at posting progress on this, but hoping to have it done this late spring/summer. Venturing into areas I've never done like thigh high boots and side-shave wigs so we'll see how it goes!

These buildings are some of the ugliest things our city has made. No balconies and therefore the windows are basically tiny slits. It's depressing. No greenery, a shoebox inside, just fucking brutal and depressing.

I was nervous about posting this, but I'm mad enough to show it. This was the incredibly weak answer I received from my MP regarding the standing ovation.

Email response to the House giving a standing ovation to Charlie Kirk

"First, I want to emphasize that the standing ovation you referenced should not be interpreted as an endorsement of Charlie Kirk’s political views or of any hateful rhetoric. In the House, MPs frequently stand to recognize guests or speakers as a matter of courtesy and parliamentary protocol, often without a detailed understanding of an individual’s full record or personal history. Members were not applauding Kirk’s ideology or hateful remarks but applauding the anti-violence sentiment shared by the MP in her speech.

The reality is that Canada’s Parliament, and I personally, stand firmly against hate, violence, and discrimination in all its forms. That has not changed, nor will it.

While I understand why this incident raised concerns, I would urge all of us to keep perspective and focus our energy on the substantive work required to build a safer, more inclusive, and prosperous Canada for all."
