Five clanrat miniatures stuck to wooden handles for painting. They have been painted in a green and dull pinkish colour scheme. Two of them are wearing armour that is bright red.

Little skink starpriest was a birthday present I received last year. Finished in time well before April 😁 Only gonna touch up the base a little bit. #warhammer #aos #nerdlings

Skink starpriest miniature with blue scales and yellow and green feather-decor is standing on the painting table elevated on a little wooden cylinder for better handling. His eyes are yellowish orange and his staff is green and golden. Skulls rest on the base underneath him where he stands on some elaborately carved rock debris.

Seen from behind the priest is wearing a dagger on a piece of string strung around his hips. His back plates are purplish and there is white spots and stars adorning is back.

Yet another angle on the skink priest. He’s reaching a claw out towards the camera and one can see the staff clearly adorned with a snake motif and a skull stuck on one of the spikes on top.

A stormcast eternals prosecutor Mini holding a spear. The armour is black and gold while his wing trails and top of the spear are a kind of magenta. The shield is supposed to be a darker purple-red and gold but in this photo it appears kinda pink too. The winged soldier is jumping off a broken doorframe that’s embedded in the ground in between rocks and grass. There’s some pink and purple flower patches too.

Another angle of the prosecutor with the grass and moss on the base appearing aggressively green, I swear the colours are more muted in person.

A closer look at the mini’s spear tip. Non metallic metal was attempted but the picture is regrettably a bit blurry.

Spent a bit of time making bases for these. Hopefully with them fully prepared for painting I will get them done sometime this year. 😅

$A group of emperors children minis all with a white basecoat. They all have purplish-black bases that are painted as if cracked or streaked with lightning. There’s 12 noise marines in the back with a lord cacophonist, 10 infractors, 10 tormentors and a lord exultant. A fully painted classic noise marine is hanging out in the back row too.$

A harlequin troupe and solitaire all stuck to bases that are painted to resemble shiny marble. The minis are primed black, the marble is white with veins of dark grey, greenish tones and sporadic flecks of gold.

Played a small game of Spearhead today. Turns out we forget about how anything works between games but it was still fun. My partner fielded his new ossiarch bone reaper Mortisan Elites against my son‘s Kharadron Overlords. #warhammer #aos

A spearhead game set up on a tabletop. It’s the sand and bones setup with the little metal fences and spooky walls. Some sturdy ossiarch bonereapers are facing down a group of kharadron overlords that trespassed into their domain.

A stormcast eternal from one of those „warhammer heroes“ blindboxes. As something not belonging to my army projects I love to try out color schemes on them.

Our warhammer store did a „paint roulette“-event today where we got to paint minis collaboratively (5 minutes then switching minis around). Got to take these two home and only did the rim on them to remember how these happened. 😅

A stormcast eternal and a space marine mini standing side by side. The stormcast has a somewhat haphazard looking yellow armour with some silver and a Red Cross on the flat underside of his hammer. His eyes are red too. The space marine ended up with a bronze and red armour with a silver symbol on the front and blue eyes. Both rims on the mini-bases are painted black and have golden writing on them stating „paint roulette 31.01.26“

Finally put the finishing touches on the 6 Jezzails I’ve been painting. Think they came out nice. Pity there’s 3 more and a whole bunch of clanrats and other stuff to go before I can call that army finished but I’m determined. 😅 #warhammer #aos #nerdlings

Six warplock jezzail miniatures from Warhammer Age of Sigmar seen from a slightly above angle on a white paper towel. Their weapons are bronze and they are clad in green and muted purple tones. They stand on a muddy ground with some friendly green tufts of grass on the bases.

Another slightly different angle on the jezzails on the paper towel. It’s two rats on each elongated oval base, the one in the back holding a ridiculously long rifle with e thin bronze barrel resting on the wood and metal shield the front rat is propping up for that purpose. Each front rat is holding a short sword to defend against potential attackers who make it into melee.

Yet once more the same rats, just slightly different angle without the paper towel. The tabletop underneath is brown and looks slightly smudged. In the background a closed wet palette can be seen.

Painted the insides of the Rhino a bit more. Love how this will be mostly invisible when the whole thing is done. 😅 #warhammer #miniatures

Look inside a half built Chaos Rhino from above. The insides look somewhat metallic with some darker pink door and shelf. On the shelf is a pink and black gun and some syringes. The door leading to the drivers area has a screaming pink face bulging out of the metal or grafted to it. A second gun hangs on the wall under some colorful radar monitors and buttons. It is also pink and has some leopard print painted on. The step to the door on the side of the vehicle has a yellow and black striped warning pattern. Mind the step.

Another look at the insides of this vehicle while the top isn’t yet installed. The open back ramp of the vehicle will stay movable and be the only way to look inside. This time the right inside wall can be seen. There is a golden symbol of the disgraced emperors children legion installed on the wall. It’s a stylised eagle. The shelf under it is empty.

A group of 6 miniatures for warhammer underworlds. This is the flesheater courts who believe themselves noble knights but are just rabid cannibalistic ghouls I painted up with greenish skin swinging bloody, rusty weapons. The leader is wearing a wicked poleaxe pointing into the distance. One of the minis is just two bat creatures which here have purplish fur and green wings.

Working on some warplock jezzails to finally clean up some of my army backlog. Trying to do at least a little bit every day. #warhammer #aos

6 warplock jezzail miniatures still being mostly grey. Each one has one rat (skaven) holding a comically large gun which is resting on a triangular shield another rat is holding up in the front. Their fur and skin is painted with a fresh layer of rakarth flesh beige and their robes are partially a dirty green. Someone stuck them on round pieces of wood with a bit of blue tack to make them easier to handle.

A colorful miniature space marine of the Emperors Children. Base colours used are black, purple, yellow and white. He has leopard print patterns on his legs and carries a red guitar which is also a bolter. On his white and black striped helmet he has a huge plume of rainbow coloured hair.

WIP and final photos of my rattling-warpblaster. Trying to tackle more of that grey pile of shame (to justify new purchases 🫣)

WIP shot of a rattling warpblaster miniature being painted. The cannon itself is painted in shades of copper while the rats are still grey.

WIP shot of the same mini from the other side, a thick cable is painted in green and the rats now also have the cloth part of their outfits painted in a dark green.

Finalised paintjob on the miniature. The rats pushing the huge gun through the mud are wearing green robes with dirty yellow-white shoulder-cloths. The rat on top is wearing some dirty metal armour over the green robes.

The finalised miniature posed to the other side, no big green cable here but the same colour scheme on the rats. The copper is tarnished and there’s some smaller patches of green growing from the muddy ground.

Finished my first little tyranid. He has three more friends waiting for paint :3

A warhammer miniature winged tyranid prime. The body is painted in a Color shifting greenish-purple while the claws are bright yellow. The carapace is dark purple with a striped pattern going into bright blue on the plate edges. He’s standing on a base painted like a metallic plated floor with a deep scratch on it like it was made by the tyranids front claw. His many eyes are bright yellow and he’s sticking out a long red tongue.

The same tyranid seen more from the side. His wings are looking iridescent purple and this angle shows a better view of the blue tipped ridges on the creature’s back and the bladelike yellow horn on the frontal part of his plated head akin to a rhino.

Going through some old clothes and my 10y old gave me a skirt she doesn’t want to wear anymore. Fits surprisingly well with my old leather corset. Guess now I start stealing HER clothes for a change. 😅

Can we stop acting like joy has an age limit?
If buying a stuffed animal, rewatching cartoons, using a coloring book, collecting cute stationery, or sleeping with a fuzzy blanket bringst you peace in this chaotic world, that's valid. The world is heavy. Bills are real. Burnout is constant. If something soft or silly makes it even a little bit lighter, let it. Being an adult doesn't mean you have to let go of the things that once made you feel safe or happy. We don't need less joy. We need more of it. Louder. Brighter. Unapologetic. Smile at the small things. Buy the plushie. Get the happy meal. Hug the pillow. Pick the pen with the glitter ink. You're not too grown. You're just tired. And you deserve softness too.

Made a little wagon for my players‘ DnD party to ride on. Planning to just buy two little plastic horses for the carriage, hopefully toy store will have something to scale.

A miniature carriage made from wood and a piece of linen to cover the inside of the wagon. A 28mm base paladin miniature is standing next to it to visualise scale. The carriage is about two bases wide and 4 long. The wagon-cover has a little square brown linen-patch on the side.

View into the wagon from the side, the miniature is placed on the drivers bench. The cover has been taken off and the panelled sides of the wagon look like worn wood patched with some additional wooden planks tacked onto them to fix damages.

View from behind the carriage shows the linen cover flaps slightly open, one side is stitched so it permanently has a little triangular flap peeling away from the middle to look more dynamic and offer more of a glimpse inside.

Top view of the carriage without the cover shows the inside wagon has some wooden planks as flooring while the left and right side are extending up higher to hold the cover up.

Finished my first kroxigor for my seraphon collection. It was really fun to paint and the vivid colours are such a nice change to the plague monks I’m also working on. #warhammer #aos

A kroxigor miniature. It’s a giant lizard holding a heavy club made from gold and some blue rock. His scales are a shiny blue over dark purple shadows on the recesses. The figures chest is painted in vivid pink and yellow vaguely reminiscent of a sunset. The base he’s standing on is adorned with some greens like ferns.

The upper body of a grey seer model stuck onto the leg-portion of a clawlord on gnaw beast. The model is clearly a work in progress with some grey portions visible where the models didn’t 100% fit together. It’s primed black sitting on a dark brown tabletop. Some colours and other hobbying-clutter is visible in the background.

The same model as before but seen from behind. It’s photographed in a way to hide the parts around the hips where the parts are haphazardly spliced together.

Bought a prebuilt and primed skaventide box-part because I want to try and sit a grey seer on a gnawbeast (thinking of an anvil of apotheosis hero) Now contemplating were to best cut apart and stick together these guys, moulder style 🫣 or is the idea really bad/not worth it?

Finished the warlock bombardier that spontaneously made it into my possession after the last visit to the warhammer store. Such a fun little model to paint.

A miniature skaven ratman holding a musket like gun into which a rocket contraption was crammed. His mouth is open and his visible eye is glowing green. Under his foot some small brown rats run out of a sewer pipe. The robes under his iron breastplate are purple, raggedy strands of it seem to be fluttering in the wind behind him. A contraption on his back is sparking green lightning and emitting an evil green smoke from an exhaust pipe.

The same skaven rat man as before seen from behind, his tail is turning a little red wheel on his mechanical backpack. There’s a lot of small pipes connecting ominous tanks and gauges on the contraption. It has an exhaust pipe on top upon which a small grey rat is raising its snout to the sky.

Thanks to my very patient partner sticking the broken mini back together I took yesterday evening to paint the Dragonborn for my daughter. I like how the cloth on her armour came out. Still curious about the replacement I ordered. Until then this is Aliz. Her axe is borrowed from our warhammer bits.

The same Dragonborn miniature as in the other picture but she’s turned away from the viewer to better display the red cloth fanning out a bit behind her. It’s shades in dramatic hues of red contrasting heavily with the green grass at her feet and the blue of her “hair tendrils” at the back of her head.

Painted a small mage for my son to use when we play DnD. Sadly I dropped the dragonborn mini for my daughter (twice 😣) and it broke. Will see what can be salvaged but already ordered a new one from Etsy. Hopefully a better print, I wasn’t too hype on the quality here anyway tbh.
