Saturday is parkrun day & time for a sandwich 🥪
I ran into town, ticked off a steady 25:30 in the middle then ran home making it a longer run🏃♂️
7.2 miles in total with parkrun sandwiched right in the middle. A great way to kick off the weekend.

Telford parkrun this morning 🇬🇧
It was certainly a warm one, so no heroics… just getting it done in the heat! 🥵🏃
As always though, parkrun is a fantastic way to start the weekend. Great atmosphere, great people, and useful training miles 👍

Summer won’t last forever, so make the most of it. ☀️
A walk, a run, a bike ride, or just getting outside for some fresh air… Every step counts. Looking after your body & mind doesn’t have to be complicated.
Get outside and stay active, because your future self will thank you. #running #fitness

Starting a new week the right way!
Today began with a 5km recovery run after a hilly 10km race yesterday, followed by an upper-body strength and conditioning session at the gym.
Recovery, consistency, and putting in the work! Every session builds towards the bigger goal 👊

Early start and out the door before the day warmed up. A nice, steady few miles today after taking it easy for a couple of days following my race at the weekend.
Feeling good to get back into the rhythm 🏃♂️

Shrewsbury 10km is a lovely route around a beautiful Shropshire town. It’s definitely on the hilly side, which makes it even more interesting on a warm day!
Still… I managed to sneak in a sub-50 finish, so I’m really happy with today’s run. 🏃♂️

Run With Adrian@asnood· May 24 Lovely start to the day with a steady 10km run through the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge 🇬🇧
Glad I got out early before the heat kicks in for the day.
Stay hydrated out there folks 👍

Run With Adrian@asnood· May 21 Some days, I head out the door with no plan, no target pace and no set distance…
just running for the pure enjoyment of it🏃♂️
This morning was 5 miles squeezed into 45 minutes before getting ready for work, and honestly,
I loved every minute of it.

Run With Adrian@asnood· May 13 Tempo runs are where endurance meets speed. 🏃♂️🔥
They help you:
• Run faster for longer
• Build aerobic fitness
• Improve race pace control
• Increase your lactate threshold
• Stronger, mentally & physically
The majority of my runs are slow & steady, so it’s nice to pick up the pace ☺️

Run With Adrian@asnood· May 10 You can’t beat starting a Sunday morning with some movement and fresh air!
Today was a light 10km trail run through the stunning Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire 🇬🇧 with perfect weather too☀️

Today was the Great Birmingham Run 🇬🇧 Half Marathon 🏃♂️
Perfect conditions for running & I just managed to come away with a PB, even with the slightly updated route and the hills in the last mile!
As always, Birmingham was an incredible atmosphere… Brilliant from start to finish.

Run With Adrian@asnood· Apr 28 This morning I squeezed a Fartlek session into just 30 minutes. After a steady 1-mile warm-up, I used 3 familiar Strava segments for sprint efforts, with recovery in between.
It may only have been 30 mins, but a well-planned session with purpose still delivers a really effective workout!

Run With Adrian@asnood· Apr 22 If you mainly run on the road, it’s worth mixing in some trail runs 🌳
The uneven ground makes your legs work in different ways, stabilising muscles, especially your ankles, calves and glutes.
It also improves your balance & coordination… Become a stronger, runner on the trails 🏃♂️

Run With Adrian@asnood· Apr 18 It’s Saturday, and that means it’s parkrun day ☺️
Another new one for me today at East Park - Wolverhampton 🇬🇧
A 3 lap course around a pleasant park and the glorious sunshine 🌳
Parkrun is simply the best way to start a Saturday 🏃♂️
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Run With Adrian@asnood· Apr 17 Running slower makes you faster!
Keep most of your runs at a conversational pace. It feels almost too easy… but that's the point.
You're building the aerobic base that unlocks real speed later.
If you're breathing too hard & can’t talk, slow down.

Run With Adrian@asnood· Apr 11 Started the day with parkrun at Haughmond Hill in Shropshire, just outside Shrewsbury 🇬🇧
It’s a lovely trail route through woodland with some stunning views, but definitely a hilly one!
No matter the challenge, parkrun is always the perfect way to kick off the weekend 🏃♂️

It was a beautiful spring morning today, the kind that instantly lifts your mood as soon as you step outside. Days like this don’t just make training easier… they bring clarity, purpose, and real focus to every mile. A reminder of exactly why you keep showing up 🏃♂️

Run With Adrian@asnood· Mar 31 March has been a great month of running. It started with Nantwich 10km, then I had a break in Lanzarote 🇪🇸 with stunning volcanic trails & many hills.
Returned home, finishing 10th at a local parkrun and rounding up the month with Wolverhampton 10km.
A total of 115miles (185km) 🏃♂️

Run With Adrian@asnood· Mar 25 Most of your runs should be slow and steady, but add some speed work now and then.
Today was interval day 🏃♂️
Pick a slight hill and 2 posts and sprint between them, walk back to the start to recover then go again.
Do this between 6 and 10 times.
*Don’t forget to warm up first.

Run With Adrian@asnood· Mar 21 Visited a new parkrun this morning at Perton Playing Fields, Wolverhampton (a fresh one and only its 16th event). This is mostly a trail course with grassy off-road sections and not to much elevation.
Strong run too today, finishing 10th overall 🏃♂️ I’ll take that!

Run With Adrian@asnood· Mar 16 Trail running is a fantastic way to build strong, resilient legs.
The uneven terrain forces your glutes, quads, calves, and stabilising muscles to work harder than flat roads to keep you balanced & moving forward.
The result? functional strength built naturally on the trails 🏃♂️

Run With Adrian@asnood· Mar 13 Back from a little R&R in Lanzarote 🇪🇸 for a running getaway 🏃♂️
I discovered some fantastic trail routes, several which were quite technical around Timanfaya National Park 🌋 but every mile was hugely enjoyable.
And of course, I couldn’t ignore Lanzarote’s unique wine culture 🍷

Running 10 miles around four volcanoes in Timanfaya National Park: Lanzarote 🌋🏃♂️
What else would you rather be doing on a Saturday morning?
This was a superb trail run - raw volcanic landscapes, endless views, and legs definitely feeling it now!

Today was Nantwich 10km 🏃♂️
This is a lovely race to do as it’s pretty flat and was also my first race of 2026.
Went out with a sub-50 in mind so I’m pretty happy with an official 48.17 today, which is a reasonable benchmark for the year ahead.
Happy running everyone!

Run With Adrian@asnood· Feb 26 It’s easy to fall into the habit of running the same routes every day.
So, shake things up!
Explore new streets, chase a few more hills, and bring the excitement back to your miles.
Make running an adventure, not just a routine. 🏃♂️✨

Run With Adrian@asnood· Feb 24 Anyone else on the hunt for the ultimate shoe-and-sock combo?

Life’s too short for boring runs, so let’s get out there as bright, cheerful runners and stand out while we’re at it! 👍✨

Run With Adrian@asnood· Feb 22 As soon as the sun breaks through and there’s just a hint of warmth… and that first sense of spring, running feels incredible and becomes the perfect way to start the day 🏃♂️
#running #fitness

Run With Adrian@asnood· Feb 20 Some days, it feels good to just get outside and simply run 🏃♂️
No plan, no pace to hit, no distance to chase, but just running for the pure joy of it 👌

Run With Adrian@asnood· Feb 17 If you are looking to shake up your interval runs, find those Strava segments with the weird names & use those for your speed and sprint work 🏃♂️
You can always revisit them again to see if you have improved!
I pick the ones that are between around 50 seconds > 2.30mins 👍
