Trying to save the world one carefully crafted briefing memo at a time. I read phone books for a living.
18 years ago I was temporarily between cats, and Mom bullied me into going to the shelter "just to look." I brought you home. Happy Gotcha Day, Huffer.
This is probably a crazy-making idea, but... Make another of these Omit the center panel Add a waistband Circle skirt!
I wore this skirt to work, then took it off and put it on the bed when I got home. A little later I found this. I think he missed me.
The birds like to throw feed, so I rigged a catch pan out of a plant pot drip pan, some zip ties and little snap clips. It works to prevent lots of mess on the deck. It also provides a place for Mr. Squirrel to sit.
My Huffer, two years ago, before he lost weight and started looking old. At 18 he was in the prime of life.
Meet my husband. He sleeps with me like this every night, always wants to know when dinner is, doesn't listen, and I'm always picking up his shit. We'll be together 18 years in July.
He's going to live forever because a cat this awesome does not succumb to age!
Coca-Cola is doing a better job of celebrating the 250th than the goddam federal government.
My coworkers are the best! These appeared on my desk during my lunch break yesterday.
View of my lap. The Damncat has decided that togetherness is the concept of the day.
It's Murderbot Day! Based on the 3 pages I read while standing in line at the bookstore, it's a ripping story of high adventure (and low humor?).
I love him dearly. He drives me nuts. I have cleaned up SO MUCH poop today (he is elderly and has medical issues).
