So I have an old NorthFace HotShot backpack (20 years old and the polyurethane coating is crumbling and flaking on the inside. Age related breakdown/“dry rot”. Anybody have any experience with applying tent sealer or another waterproofing agent to synthetic camping gear? Or give up the ghost?
