This is a piece of a Russian KH-47 Kinzhal that was intercepted over Ukraine by an American Patriot missile 3 years ago today. It sits on my desk in my office. Tragically the Ukrainian air defense officer who shot this down was later killed in another Russian raid. Слава Україні

Happy VE Day everyone! 81 years ago today the Nazi regime surrendered to the Allies, ending a conflict that began in Sept 1939 when Germany and the Soviet Union invaded Poland, costing tens of millions of lives. May America return to its role of defending freedom and democracy.
