Hellllll yeah! I'm so glad to finally be writing Ivan's dialogue in Infinite Life! It's going to be fun, because it's a totally different style than the other characters so far. Also the script is at 12,000 words! Whoooo! #ToxicYuriVNJam

HOOOLY SHIT! Sooooooo, apparently when I was in college, I took THIS quiz, and for some reason that I DO NOT KNOW, I uhhh... answered like this, lmao. Good on the teacher for playing along, though! (Seriously, whyyyyy did I do this? Which me had the balls to write this shit??? I wasn't even high!)

Ok, I couldn't help but infodump a bit about Burger Becky in this game. I never met her IRL, but she's still a hero to me. I'm so sad I'll never get the chance. I'm not even sure this is the right place to memorialize her? But I guess a queer game about understanding dysphoria through VR is fitting.

I didn't really expect how mentally painful writing about this stuff would be. It's certainly a learning experience. Well that and pushing past the AuDHD shit.

OK! It's all done, and it looks and runs fantastic! This is a ¥300 Super Famicom that now is good as new! At some point I may do some replacement shell for it, but for now it's just a solid, reliable, yellowed Super Famicom!

Ok, new caps on! Let's see how well it works.

Well, I got the board cleaned up pretty decently! Now it's time to get some caps on there! I checked the big 1000uF cap and it's good, so it's just the small surface mount ones, they were pretty leaky! I got a pretty good amount of the corrosion off, thankfully.

Moved on to PC-98 repair stuff! May need a re-cap, I'm afraid. "Divide by 0 error" isn't great. Also can't get it to load floppies with known good drives.

¥300 Super Famicom, I can see why! Looks like someone spilled something inside. But that's ok, I can get this fixed! I have a parts machine anyway.

Oooh, I managed to get the CRT into 320x240 progressive scan! Text is a good bit cleaner without all that interlacing flicker. Granted, most people will be playing this on modern PCs ofc! But I do wanna recommend people use some CRT filters or something.

This is the kind of game that #Polyanimus is. I think it's gonna fit the #ToxicYuriVNJam theme pretty well! (Ignore the jankiness of the text and nametags, it's mostly scene summaries used as placeholders for scene blocking while the script is being written)

I installed hooks in two different rooms in my apartment, so that I could put chain on them and walk anywhere in the whole space on a leash~ I have looooots of chain :3 (The landlord will just have to deal with it, lol.)

Holy wow, I ACTUALLY did it! Really didn't expect I'd be able to keep something like this going so long. ADHD can SUCK IT!

For #WorldCup Japan's McDonald's has the "Mexican Tacos Cheese Chicken Muffin" and It's pretty decent! The taco meat is a bit spicy, which is rare for Japan. The cheese sauce isn't overwhelming, and adds nicely. They have a regular chicken sandwich version too, haven't tried it.

Here's one of our early test images from #Polyanimus, made in 320x240 on a CRT TV! We've since done some work on the font alignment and such, and we have a ton of background images ready to go! I'm plugging away at this #ToxicYuriVNJam script, starting with scene breakdowns, and soon dialog!
