Yesterday I got the move order mixed up. A storm was brewing. I hung the wash inside. It started raining just when I was going outside to lower the "sails". Too late. The storm broke.
Crazy, but true. Dutch poster from 1936, warning against Nazism. "Dood", in Dutch, means "death".
We're back from a short holiday. We went to Granada which is bigger than we both remembered. Granada is very much worth the visit, but don't forget to book an entrance to the Alhambra online otherwise it's near impossible to see it. It's very safe as there are tourists everywhere.
Not to brag, but this mother dough looks really good. Tomorrow I'll bake some bread.
I took her home on October 7th, 2013 for the first time. Exactly twelve years ago.
My ex told me it was our turn to take care of the pus. I had no idea. She, the pus, had four kittens. We took care of her. I kept her, and she's still with me today, twelve years later.
We have a small rotary sprinkler and the head kept on unscrewing. I fixed it with thread lock. After applying the glue, I read the instructions: "Apply to both surfaces". I tried to unscrew it to apply the glue to both surfaces, but I could not manually unscrew it. Job failed successfully.
When I was a student, more than thirty years ago, psychologists and philosophers were questioning the meaning and value of IQ. What does IQ measure? What does any IQ value mean? Nobody knows. Let people overvalue IQ.
