I've grown incredibly fond of August during the course of s.2-3. Bc who doesn't love a morally gray character with redeeming qualities, esp when said character is a 1.90 mt tall sad boy with luscious dark curls, deep green eyes, and allergic to t-shirts? Yes, I am this shallow.💁♀️ 1/5 #YoungRoyals
I know it's not universally loved (some ppl find it problematic) but I had a good time watching it. I adore Hyeri comedic talent and she and Kiyong have a great chemistry.
I don't even have words for this. Tanrak has been the most composed/repressed self for 3 eps, giving away almost nothing behind his stereotypical fake smile. His almost pleading expression, as he repeats Barth's words, is the most vulnerable we've seen him until now. #TicketToHeaven

Despite the incoming panic attacks, he got his hands and mouth on Simon as soon as he had the chance and I respect the dedication. 🙂↕️ Every moment they were apart was torture for him, the longing unbearable, the relief palpable as he got even just one smile from his beloved. Supreme yearner. 4/4
As I promised - and also bc I can't shut up about them - my #YoungRoyals characters review, starting with the crown Prince himself. 👑 Wilhelm managed to make me feel compassion for a member of an elitist anacronistic, parasite class I usually despise, so this says a lot. 1/4
+The writing is flawless: the story was clearly mapped out from start to finish, unfolding coherently with callbacks and foreshadowing that add depth and feel very satisfying. Every character in #YoungRoyals is well developed, but the complementary arcs of Wille and August really stand out for me.+
+It manages all this without feeling dark or overly dramatic, but with lightness, naturalness and that peculiar Scandinavian perspective that I can't better explain. There's also a lot of joy in #YoungRoyals: real friends, warm hugs, loving families (even if broken) and true love of course.+
I have so many feelings about #YoungRoyals I don't know where to start. I went in with zero expectations (for reasons I won't elaborate) and now there is yet another couple of scandinavian gays who has me by the throat. But the series is much more than this. 🧵 after the pics of my fav scenes 👇

I love how they keep playing with their height to show their current dynamic. Gijun is lower than Ina when he's either the playful puppy or the devoted knight, but he raises above her when he rightfully asks for explanations to her cold behaviour. Visual storytelling 👌 #FilingforLove #kdrama
