and finishing up this trip with zurich’s (techno/edm) street parade. the city puts this on for free every year where they set up a bunch of stages and run a parade of sound trucks around the lake and everyone parties in the streets. it’s kinda chaotic and hella crowded lol but definitely fun!
finally in zurich and all i can think about is that “after visiting the most expensive city in the world i could really see myself living here” meme lol. incredibly lovely city with such close access to beautiful nature but also i just paid $8 to take a 10 minute tram
mooore driving! weather kept us out of the mountains so we pivoted to check out lucerne instead. tbh i didn’t know much about the city but it impressed! lots of history, charm, and ~whimsy~ around every corner
exploring around the grindelwald valley~ the valley itself definitely had the most dramatic valley floor to mountain tops views. unreal
i saw this earlier today for a reason i did not know existed until reading your post so here you go
spent the day roadtripping through quaint countryside towns before putzing around high above the lauterbrunnen valley. it’s corny but as a tourist this felt like the quintessential swiss alpine experience and i am just…full of whimsy…and inner peace
got to be the matterhorn’s favorite fanboy today. i nearly tripped like 3 times on trail from staring at it too much lol. zermatt is also such an iconic mountain village and i’m thoroughly charmed by it
spent the day at oeschinensee and my word this is one of the most beautiful places on the planet
we are in switzerland! will be checking out lots of neat spots during this trip. we were in bern for our first day and wow what an extremely charming city
my past self would be so fucking scared if he learned he’ll grow up to be a guy that gets excited to go spend his day off visiting the botanical garden on a beautiful sunny day
jimmy eat world! also first time checking out the concord pavillion, it’s actually a really cool outdoor venue lol
bob moses! cannons! both of them seemed to lean into a really upbeat electropop sound since i’ve seen them last. made for a fun energy
floral! i waited in the worst late night construction traffic of my life getting home from this show but the math rock was worth it
oh boyyyy it’s my first time in oahu and i am excited to be back in ✨paradise✨
wanted to get outta the house today and found this really nice japanese garden close by to me which was a nice surprise
finally got to visit redwoods national park! these trees are crazy massive…and the biomes they live in are so lush and green. felt like a truly whimsical forest adventure~ 🐯: @rukatiger.bsky.social 🦊 : @pjfoxes.bsky.social 🐺 : @paladinwulfie.bsky.social
takuya nakamura! laying down the sweet sound of jazzy brass over a great atmospheric drum n bass mix, my needs were met
he’s stoked to wear his modestly gay festival fit to the Big Rave✨ 📸: @rukatiger.bsky.social 💕
finally, gotta shoutout the ubuntu stage. every time i stopped in here the vibe was always so fun and chill. and the tunes were always a groove. floyd lavine had a hella fun crowd going!
vintage culture! been a real big fan of the tech house brazil’s been cooking up lately. also loved the circuit grounds stage with its wrap-around screens for a full immersion effect
zedd is definitely someone i was way overdue to finally see live and boy what an awesome hour that was, hella fun from start to finish
loved seeing griz in the past and heard great things about griz b2b wooli sets so really stoked i got to catch that cuz damn what a show they put on
was not expecting dabin’s mix into simple and clean with crisp kingdom hearts visuals but that is a top 3 way to make my night so thank you!
