The Dominion-NextEra merger would create the nation's largest regulated electric utility. My concern: will it mean more affordable, reliable, and cleaner energy for Virginians? The SCC has 6 months to review it. Extending that timeline for a fuller review is sensible.

Another law I championed to help constituents economically has been reported on. This idea came straight from a constituent, a small business owner who wants to grow her home bakery by taking more orders!
250 years ago, this nation began an experiment in self-determination. As a 1st gen immigrant, I carry that gift: the freedom to shape my life. I owe it to the veterans and service members who defended it, and the citizens I watched take their oath today. Happy Independence Day!

Virginians depend on the Dulles Greenway for work & family needs; they should not pay for poor business decisions. The law is clear: increased rates should not substantially deter drivers, & I believe the proposed toll increase do!
