Look, it's simple. If a person has to actively work to make money, they're not "the rich" and they're not the problem. A surgeon making $200k a year still stops making money if they stop showing up to do surgery, because they're still selling their labor. The radical discrepancies in how we value different skills are certainly a problem, but the guy who makes money when he doesn't even get out of bed is the one making money on the value of other people's labor.

The distinction between labor and passive capital clarifies the wealth debate. High earners still trade time for income, unlike the asset-heavy class. Focusing on how money is made reveals the true nature of economic inequality.

Modded my partner's and my fight sticks to leverless today. Really proud of this because the only money I spent on the project was for the keycaps. I had everything else in stock. The 3d printed part was easy to design too. It's just glued to the top of the box. Totally reversible. #FightingGames

Below that, user Aubrey (@aubrey.northsky.social) replies: 'I'm sorry, if Trump can pardon a thousand plus J6 convicts, the Dems can pardon e.g. the Prairieland defendants. If that's not possible, then I don't actually give a fuck who's president because apparently only bad things can happen.'

Next, Money Is Fake responds, posting at 5:24 PM on June 28, 2026: 'Presidents can't pardon state crimes. Nor can they pardon anyone who hasn't been convicted. I get that you're angry. I am too. But threatening to hold your breath until you die doesn't help anything.'

I'm seeing more and more posts like this on local facebook groups every week. More and more needing help with, like, the most necessary and reasonable things. Things that definitely used to be affordable. People are fucking dying over $50 inhalers and there's no help coming.
