Dogs are a delight! This is Marcus, we fostered him for a while about 10 years ago, a 'Northern Inuit'. My husband could not take him anywhere without being approached by teenage girls wanting a photo!

Extreme high temperatures above 30 degrees C next week in Great Britain. Stay out of the sun in the middle of the day (11.00 - 15.00hr), close windows & curtains when sun is shining on the windows, stay hydrated, keep pets indoors. Find some shady trees for comfort.

Lovely, JoJo! I haven't seen a lot of fungi in my part of England yet. We have had a very dry summer, parched grass and cracked soil, the lot. Although there has been a fair bit of rain since the end of Sept, maybe not enough to compensate? Sending a 5-y-o photo for you!

💙📚 Dystopian fiction is popular these days, so here is one of my favourites: "They" by Kay Dick. Good luck finding a copy, but it is worth the hunt. Very relatable in the current atmosphere of US politics of censorship and attacks on artistic expression and free speech.
