The Tower Archives of Firunsbrunn Village is still one of my favorite pieces, and for once, this seems to overlap with my followers, seeing as it is my most sold print to this day. I wish I could live in a village like this. Anyways, have a good week! Simon
I still love to look at this piece and frequently stop and look at it when I go through my work. The Empress and her "Shield" play an enourmously important part in Argenta, so I just had to draw it in a relief view.

I sometimes worry about putting my art "out there" that has really soft, calm and cozy vibes, as around 75% of my audience is men who often like Warhammer, DnD, just in general the more "epic" fantasy topics. But then, why not, and why can't we like both sides of fantasy? Have a good week! Simon
The lineart and the finished artwork as comparison. My lineart tended to become much softer in the last few artworks, and I must say I enjoy it a lot, the pieces feel much more painterly while still having actual drawing in them. 🌿 Have a good weekend! 🦦 - Simon
I've always been fascinated by Dolmen, Menhirs and basically any stone that is unusually placed. They have that sense of wonder and mysticism that isn't scary though, like I somehow belong there. The door appeals particularly to me, it feels like the portal to another world. 🌿

This piece started out with stronger lineart first, then I toned it back down (redrew the whole thing). The lighting study looked kind of cool then, so I wanted to post it. Hope you like it! 🌿
I just realized that I wrote "villages" instead of "islands", but at least I don't use AI, so I don't feel too bad about the mistake 🤣
I love the idea of single houses or tiny hamlets on small villages, there is something about being secluded without being far, far away from the towns and cities at the same time. And no, I actually have no clue how that hole came to be, I just thought it would look cool 🤣
