Overnight smoke from the Frijoles Fire settled into nearby valleys, leaving parts of Santa Fe with an Air Quality Index of "very unhealthy." Packed an extra N95 on my walk to work. The first person I saw asked for an extra mask, and I obliged.

I went to Española yesterday, and the results made the front page of the Gallup Independent this weekend
