Hell yeah! Almost seven years after Theodore Ferrara was killed by a driver on Lyndale, and we started advocating for serious change, we got there. It's not a perfect design (there are a lot of things I'd do differently), but it's light-years better than the 2019 status quo.

This chart is really something. And the stuff about A-pillar visibility is something I've noticed anecdotally, but the data seems to back it up. They don't go into it but chonky C-pillars and tiny high rear windows also are low speed back over incidents more likely, I'm sure

This is what I've been telling people for years. Uptown is in a transition, as a real estate person says later in the article, from a destination to an area focused on local residents. And transitions are painful! But necessary
