While I was having fun drawing and writing about Blathnaid, I noticed that she, Zeri and Scylla are (respectively) perfect as a Land-Sea-Sky trio. What's funnier is that they live in the same region, so it's just perfect. xD Despite their details, they turned out alright! I spent the most time-

This one felt rushed. A reference sheet for Tomoko, and I think I could still do better with her design instead of what I'd done so far. That's alright. I can always jump back to drawing her on a later date. Until then, I'm pretty happy with some drawings on this page!

The top-left drawing is just her posing with her naginata, one of the weapons that she owns.

The top-middle drawing shows how she actually looks without her clothes. It shows the length of her hair, and that she has retractable claws on her hands and feet.

The top-right sketches showcase Tomoko's arsenal. The top left one shows her landing with her naginata, ready to strike. The bottom left one shows her with her sword, which looks awfully familiar to something that Reina holds. The top right sketch shows her with the sword drawn. And the bottom right sketch shows her idling with her naginata. I got lazy with drawing her clothes for this sketch.

The bottom-middle sketch shows Tomoko hugging a gryphon's arm intimately. He'll get an update design soon, just not now.

Took me a while to finish this reference. And I'm satisfied with how she looks~ This is Venetia, a (shortfin) mako shark who is the technological geek for Peach's group. She tends to check through recording and photos for signs of editing, but she can delve into other technology-based fields.

The top-middle drawing shows how she looks without her clothes. Her palms and soles are the same shade of white as her snout and belly. It should be noted that she wears wigs.

The top-right sketches show Venetia without her wig. The second drawing shows her hanging out with Catherine, where Catherine is gifting a handbag to her. Venetia loves handbags. The third sketch shows Venetia doing ballet, and it also showcases how long her tail is.

The bottom-left sketch shows how her tail looks, since it's always hidden behind her.

The bottom-middle sketches show Venetia's head-fins, as well as the gills on both sides of her neck. I didn't draw this detail on the actual drawings. It was a last minute addition for her, and it's completely optional.

The bottom-right sketch shows Venetia working on a computer. To her left is Willow, who is curious what's happening on the screen. Only Venetia experiences the frustration of digging hours of footage for any signs of tampering. That's why she doesn't have her wig in this.

Weirdly, I've only drawn two OCs with their fangs showing. I tend to draw them in a tiny triangles near the top corner of their mouths. Characters featured are my Willow and Charles, respectively!

I still have Blathnaid in my focus, but I kinda want to finish this reference of a shark character I'd began on 6th June, but got distracted- Venetia has went from skinny, to really chubby, and suddenly to this shape of body. It's in-between, I suppose? How does one describe body shape-

I sketched more of Blathnaid. She's surprisingly fun, and those flowery details can't stop me because I'm lazy- I've also decided to put her with Eve's group, hence why we see Finnbar, Zeri and Scarlette in these sketches. Man, these are fun. @yukidoodlesdo.bsky.social's Julia makes an appearance!

Beginning from the top-left, Blath is attempting to use her charms to acquire a freshly-baked pie from my friend's OC Julia. She has kindly allowed Blath to enjoy the pie while discussing about Blath's witchly profession.

The top-middle and top-right sketches show Blath teasing Finnbar. The antelope is incredibly abashed by Blath's advances.

The middle-center and middle-left sketches show Blath hanging out with Eve, Scarlette and Zeri respectively. She's on good terms with the other ladies.

The bottom-left sketch shows Blath in awe at someone. Could it be someone dashing enough to capture her attention? Or she's just impressed? That's up to you to decide.

The bottom-middle-left sketch has Blath braiding her hair for a change. She also sports a flower crown.

The bottom-middle-right sketch has Blath blasting something with a magical force from her wand. I haven't fully worked out Blath's magic yet, but I wanted to draw a cool action pose.

The bottom-right sketch shows Blath being incredibly amused by mushrooms. She loves mushrooms. Mushrooms are so neat. She'll eat some and use them in spells later.

Blathnaid in a summer themed outfit. I try to make it resemble her main outfit, so details may change. It looks okay for now, but I know I can do better.

Got this fair lady from @honeyagami.bsky.social recently, because LOOK AT HER!! SHE'S SO GORGEOUS 😭 He's done such an immaculate job with her design!! So everyone, meet Blathnaid! I spent a while studying flowers and trying to figure out what flowers were found on her, and how to draw them.

Next to Blathnaid is a wild rose bush. It's partially coloured, because I didn't want to overload this shot with greens. I recycled some of the greens used on her outfit, and the peach-pink on the flowers are the same as the peach-pink on her butterfly chest accessory (brooch?).

Sketches of Blathnaid done earlier this week. I wanted to get the gist of her design. The left sketch has her walking prettily, while the right sketch was to understand how the "leaves" on her outfit work, as well as the shape of her eye-flower. I also wanted to make her fairie wings look like a cape. She can fly with those wings.

A little experiment into character design with a beaver guy. It's for this month's Delicia Island theme, which required us to create a new character for the island. I decided to make one who runs a hardware store on the island. His name is Mr. Hugo. More in ALT!

Unfortunately, Roslan only wants one whetstone to sharpen his blade, not four. He's not sure how to bring it up without interrupting this jolly man's ramble about the joys of seeing blades gleam in the light.

Concept sketches of Mr. Hugo, where I tried to get the hang of his anatomy. The leftmost sketches were my first attempt, then I did the middle one which I was satisfied with.

The top-right sketch shows Mr. Hugo being asleep with his cap over his face. Elvard is fishing next to him, and he wonders if Mr. Hugo is actually fishing or not. He was already here when Elvard joined him, and it's been 3 hours. Elvard has caught more fish than the beaver did.

I picked up a pretty book recently, but the reviews that I've read are... very concerning. 😂 It doesn't help that one of the blurbs claims that this book is "Tolkienesque". . . I haven't dove into the book yet. It's still sealed, as I've been admiring the prettiness of the pages. Just look!

Sketching Iris again was fun. I had wondered what about her 2024 design that didn't sit well with me, and it struck me that I'd removed a few aspects from her 2019 version, like her wing-like cape, the ribbons on her butterfly bow, and a small lock on her right of her head. Good to see Iris again.

Her hair is incredibly long to make up for her lack of tail. The top-middle sketch shows Iris looking concerned for something. She's put her faith into the person for keeping the situation under control, but something tells her things will go south fast. The centre-middle sketch is only her head when viewed from front. She looks a bit peeved. I wanted to see how her horns, hair and ears would look from this angle. Now for the recent sketches, beginning with the bottom-left sketch. It is a rear view of Iris as she glances back. This was an experiment to see if I could handle her hair, ears and horn from this angle. It also shows the length of her snout. The bottom-middle sketch shows Iris with a few marbles surrounding her. She levitates these marbles to refract light. I don't think that's how marbles work, but magic is magic. The top-right sketch is a full body of Iris with a looser body. I have no idea why she would pull off such a pose. She looks pretty, and that's what matters I suppose. She has her crystal ball by her head while marbles surround her. Bottom-right sketch just shows her being happy. She needs happiness. Bottom-right-right sketch shows Iris floating behind Munais in action ready poses. Munais has icicles ready to reflect Iris's light-based spells. I hope you've brought sunglasses.$

A fun interaction piece of @catfreakzz.bsky.social's Drago with my Munais! I'm still amazed that Drago is shorter than Munais. I thought they would've been around the same height. xD Still, this was a fun piece to let my character (who isn't Roslan) interact with another~

Munais doesn't look eager for a dive. She doesn't have her swimsuit on hand. Who has their swimsuit on hand at all times? She's not hesitant to give the dive a try. A little swim is good for the body~

Right back at you, @catfreakzz.bsky.social ! A #WIP of my interaction piece between Munais and their Drago~ I feel that it's only right I show my part, in case they have anything they wish to be changed about Drago in my style. I'm still surprised that they drew Munais being taller then Drago. 😂

Drago appears to be holding some sort of underwater plant that Munais has never seen before. This prompted Drago to show Munais where the plant could be found, but it's in a river.

Munais is not dressed for a river dive. But she really wants to see this beneficial aquatic plant with her own eyes. She has already taken one of her shoes off, and is in the midst of taking the other off. She does not want her ankle-warmers to be soaked. Everything else can be dried with magic, but not shoes. That takes ages.

Been a while since I painted any miniatures. So I painted this mug for my 30 Minute Fantasy knight dude to drink from! Good thing that the item set that this came from had 2 mugs in the box, so I can show the unpainted version versus the painted version.

Yep! I've painted this guy last year, and it's still my best painted model to date. The "green" in the vents are a combination of yellow and green, while that spear's green is just plastic!

An art trade with @jazimustelid.bsky.social of her character Frost! I will be frank, this was a very generic pose, but it was the coolest for me to show her showing off her icy powers. I struggled with her colours, however. I found that using my silver colour pencil helped to mute my blues!

Been a while since I did something like this. Little gift for @cnwgraphis.bsky.social I'm bad at drawing Chao, so this one was a bit challenging. xD But the little animals were fun to draw! So was Avalon, even though her colours were difficult to replicate. I enjoyed working on this overall~

Both characters are seated on rocks as Avalon is showing a pink-coloured two tone Chao (I forgot how Chao colours work). There's another Chao below her that has a lot of tiger-like traits.

Next to Willow (on her right) is a little sheep, her favourite animal. The sheep is looking questionably at the pink Chao too. It's wondering if the pink on that Chao is similar to the pink on its horns.

At the bottom middle of this scene is a little boar, sleeping peacefully. It's not disturbed by the conversation that Avalon and Willow are having about Chao.

I like how this sketch turned out. Sadly it won't be coloured, but I drew these because I was inspired after watching videos on weapons in history vs. weapons in fiction. I had struggled with bow designs in particular, so I will continue to refine that design as time goes. More in ALT

So while I was doing references, I had accidentally skipped a page. Oops. You could even see Siobhan's silhouette in the back. So I sketched Alex, who is an associate of Peach's group! No thanks to all the drawing, I feel that her reference feels outdated? And that was in 2024?? Time flies.

The middle sketch shows Alex in a prom dress. It's only a sketch, but it shows her physique. She's not as skinny as Siobhan or Willow, but she's not as buff as Jacques either.

The top-right sketch shows the heads of Siobhan and Alex. One can assume that Alex has drunk enough to get tipsy, and Siobhan understands that she needs to take Alex home before she accidentally blows something up with her robotic arm. I didn't do a good job with Alex's front view of her face.

The middle-right sketch shows Alex and Jacques. This best shows their body physique. Jacques's body is wider and less curvy than Alex. One can only assume what those two are thinking about as they're glancing at each other.

And now, a montage of sketches from the earliest to the latest, before I settled for this default look. Can't believe I sketched all of these in an hour. xD

The first sketch of Elvard with his version 1 Yacht Extreme Gear. I didn't follow through with it afterwards-

Page two. Surprise Roslan appearances, because I wanted to try drawing sword perspectives. That failed miserably. He's supposed to be wielding Charles's Laser Sword in these sketches.

But this isn't about Roslan. This is about Elvard! The sketch in the middle was the original look I'd wanted for that monthly piece. There is a sketch of his Extreme Gear at the bottom-left. The top-right shows him looking cool with his Gear, but he has no outfit yet.

Page 3 of Elvard sketches. I tried to draw the same pose again and again, then I tried a different angle with the infamous Akira Bike slide as my reference. That didn't go so well either. It's only then that I realised I didn't choose a goggle design for him. So I tried a few...

... And I settled for one that reminded me of Kamina from Gurren Lagaan. I don't watch the anime, but those glasses look cool. xD So Elvard gets them.

I tried the Akira Bike Slide pose again, but I hated how it looked. It's then that I finally try to design his racing outfit.

Delicia Island's Monthly Theme for May 2026: Sonic Riders! I had such grand ambitions when I began on this piece. This was done after I'd spent 4 pages of my sketchbook to try and draw a specific pose. I settled for a default look instead, and with Elvard-

Your OCs are cool! I love the details on Raine's reference about how they can control the temperature of water, and they're a numbat too!!! Esper's shadowy arms look so spooky with those purple flame-like edges, and how they come out of her back. I have a lot of OCs, so I'll show 4. More in ALT!
