Last evening the sunset was absolutely beautiful! Arizona has the most amazing sunsets some days! Glad I was able to enjoy it. Here’s a little video so you can too!

Anyone know anybody in the Phoenix area that can authenticate a couple pics I have? One is a collage with a Joe DiMaggio Autograph and the other is a Photo of Babe Ruth signed by the photographer. They were sold as a pair in an auction. I found them in a storage unit. Any help would be appreciated!

I got in the pool this morning to clean it and it was actually fairly warm. I guess skinny dipping season is here! Yay! It was 107 yesterday here so the pool feels amazing!

We planted a new tree in our backyard last week. We bought it to honor our little dog Brutus who passed last year. His remains are placed under it. It’s a kumquat tree. I thought it fit his personality. Sweet and tart. He was a great dog!

I go back to work on Sat. after having 2 weeks off. I didn’t do anything I wanted to do because I thought it irresponsible to spend a bunch of money right now. So I stayed around the house mostly. I did buy one storage unit. A good one with lots of money makers in it. It was nice being off work. 😁

This morning I went out to my front yard and I found a Great Horned Owl feather. In some cultures owls are good luck! I hope this brings me some good luck! It sure is beautiful!

Another walk this morning and another rattlesnake sighting. It might be one of the ones I saw earlier, not sure. They always curl up next to the curb. I think they feel safer because they’re next to a pretty busy road. Of course I wouldn’t bother them and they don’t bother us. He was a small one.

Good morning Friends, yesterday we went to a spring training game at Peoria Stadium. We watched our favorite team, the San Diego Padres beat the Los Angeles Angels. It was absolutely beautiful weather & we were able to watch all the stars for the first 5 innings! I’m hoping to catch a few more!

I have been buying storage units at auction for a few years now. I’ve bought over 100! Some winners, some losers but I always learn about the stuff in there! I think the thrill of the hunt is what keeps me going but the knowledge gained by researching about the items I find is just as valuable. 👍🏻😁

Yesterday we took a short road trip to Boyce Thompson Arboretum. It’s such a beautiful place. We saw some Cardinals, a spotted towhee and a few other birds. They have plants from all over the world and a nice mile and a half loop hike. I highly recommend it! It’s next to Superior AZ! Go check it out

Someone in my neighborhood put this on our light pole in front of our house. I’m glad to see that there are people on my side in my neighborhood. Phoenix is very Trumpy so it’s refreshing to see a little activism here! It’s also a cute painting! 👍🏻😁

It’s another cool morning here in north Phoenix. Last day of the garage sale! It’s not been my best sale but I moved over 100 items so not terrible either. I still have a lot of stuff! Come by if you’re in the Deer Valley area! DM me for the address!

Garage sales in early January kind of suck. It’s still cold for us, in the 30’s! I’ve had maybe 8 people so far today. Last time I did a dollar sale I made $600! I have 2 1/2 hours left today and then again tomorrow morning. Self inflicted freezing LOL

Tomorrow morning I’m having my Semi Annual Clearance Garage sale! I have hundreds of items and everything is a dollar! I’m hoping to sell $500 worth or more! It should be perfect weather for it! I wish I could see some of my followers there! It’s always fun to meet them!

I played golf with a friend of mine from HS today. We had a great time catching up on all the years. I haven’t seen him since 1981! Wow! It was so much fun! Thanks Frank!

We had our potluck today and my tri tip I smoked is almost gone. I would say it was a success! There was a lot of food for 6 people. I’m sooo full! We also did a gift exchange! I got some snacks & fishing gear. Good stuff! Happy Holidays my Friends!

Finally enjoying a little sunshine and warmth this morning before getting ready for work. Our store potluck is tomorrow so I’m smoking a chicken this morning. Tomorrow morning I will smoke a tri tip before going in. I have it trimmed and prepped in the fridge! Should be delicious!

Good morning All, well I sold that Rhodes piano for $1300 to a nice couple who take them and rebuild them. They were happy & I made a profit so all is good! I also sold a couple other items from that unit. It was a good gamble! I’m at work today and am needing some sales here! Come buy a mattress!

Sedona is simply gorgeous. I can see why people come here. Unfortunately I didn’t sleep well at all last night so I have been in the room napping trying to recover. The weather is spectacular though so I may have to venture out in a little bit. Maybe go for a walk . I see a trailhead across the way.
