Just learned something. You know how in the US, tally marks are like the first pic? Yeah, they don't do that in 🇯🇵. They do the second pic. The marks complete the kanji 正, which means correct. Imagine my surprise when I asked my team to tally something and got tallies with 正. I was like, WTF? 😂🤣
Yup, I had that. They were okay. Everything was over priced, but hey, it was a festival and this kind of food is considered exotic around here
There was an American Food festival this past weekend. Tried to get Texas BBQ, but alas, there were long lines and they sold out 😞. However, my lady finally got to try gumbo. I've told her a lot about it (I lived for a couple of years in New Orleans). It wasn't 100%, but it was close enough 😋😊🇺🇸🎸🤘🏾
Ah they just posted a pic of the Phoenix show. I'd say that's a pretty good sized crowd for the venue. I'm glad they did well. I'm always nervous when non 🇺🇸 bands who don't sing in English play in 🇺🇸 . I've heard enough people back in FL talk shit about bands I like because they don't sing in English

For some reason,Tokyo celebrated US Independence Day. This is Skytree tonight. Tokyo Tower and other places were also lit up. I think there were fireworks too? I'm not sure. I was too busy getting mad at my sports teams and trying to convince myself that I don't need a new guitar. Happy 4th, US. 🎆

It's not the cup noodles kind, but try a brand called Sapporo Ichiban. They're in the packs, so you'll have to add ingredients if you want. It's a famous brand in 🇯🇵 . You'll get a good idea of the packaged instant ramen here. Walmart should have it. More expensive at about a dollar or so a pack.
