Vets today. Dog doesn't have an obvious heart defect or murmur. He's not overweight and apart from a collapsed trachea which makes him breathe a bit hard he's OK. He's just old and farts a bit, especially in company...

Out the door at 7am. On the water before 8 Didn't see another soul until about 10, unless waterfowl and a kingfisher count. Beating the heat on my own private millpond.

What with the war and instability in the region I'm not sure it was ever wise to include it on their tour schedule.

Saw this #Fox tail poking out of some rubbish n my rubbish barn... scared me as I was blocking the door and it was cornered. Then I remembered throwing an old broomhead in there..
Just seen one of these run across the bottom of my garden. Explains the scat... About 50cm long plus a tail. Lovely looking beast.
Neighbour (69 years old and 20 stone) is currently jumping around fixing his roof while his wife uses a rope tied to a tractor to winch galvansied roof panels to him on the apex without knocking him off. Much hilarity and swearing. Health & Safety in action.
I have never grown any food successfully. Man grow food now. Getting a handful of strawbs daily for about 3 weeks now. And I have tomato fruit... or will have...maybe
